Fund shortage hinders new coach stations

Under the VND3.6 trillion (US$1.8 million) scheme by the city People’s Committee, Suoi Tien and Tan Quy Tay coach stations would have been commissioned by 2015 to replace the two existing Mien Dong and Mien Tay stations. A government report on Tuesday showed new orders received by U.S. factories unexpectedly rose in November, and orders excluding transportation recorded their largest gain in eight months.

Bus firms complain over parking space regulation

At the workshop held to review road transportation developments this year, Bui Van Quan, chairman of the city's Transport Association, said that it was very difficult for transport companies to have their own parking lot even though they desired it. Current land prices are too high not for individual firms, but also for co-operatives.

Enterprises operating in agro-forestry-fishery, construction, and foreign-related services will have to make quarterly reports.

Hanoi invests 1.131 trillion dong for three traffic projects

The Transportation Department has assigned investors for two projects of Yen Vy bridge with investment capital of 29 billion dong in Q1 of 2011 and upgrading principal road No 423 of over 943 billion dong. The preparation progress was expected to be finished within the first two quarters of 2011.
