Mekong Expo 2011 opens in Can Tho

The fair showcased economic achievements, the potential and specialities of each province and city as well as fine art and handicraft products, machinery, advanced technologies, food processing, and environmental protection tools.

At the opening ceremony, General Director of the Hà Nội-based Republic of Korea (RoK) Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Sun Seong Ki, affirmed that Vietnam Expo is one of the fairs drawing the most attention of RoK businesses.

Tet Fair to open in Hanoi

The traditional fair will showcase commodities including food, clothing, beverages, household goods, gifts, fruit, flowers, decorative plants and creatures and specialities from the regions such as: Hoa Binh’s stem wine (wine drunk out of a jar through a stem), Nam Roi grapefruit, Dien grapefruit, Bo Ha oranges, Dong Soai sprouts, Bac Giang noodles, Thai Nguyen tea, Dien Bien rice and Uoc Le pork pies.

Tien Giang province opens socio-economic trade fair

The event attracted 200 showcases by 17 businesses from My Tho city and 70 other from Tien Giang and neighbouring provinces. Most of them displayed agricultural and industrial products and services under the campaign “Vietnamese people use Vietnamese goods”.

HCM City to host Tet shopping fair

Organised by the Business Studies and Assistance Center and Sai Gon Tiep Thi newspaper, the fair will feature 700 booths displaying Vietnamese high-quality goods, including garments, footwear, processed foodstuff, beverages, pharmaceutical products, electronic and electric products and household utensils, with attractive promotions.

Cho Lon Fair 2010 to open

The event, to be jointly held by the HCMC Department of Industry and Trade and the Chinese Mission in HCMC, will attract the participation of businesses from provinces and cities nationwide and various Chinese enterprises.

Fair offers discounts on electronics and IT devices

The four-day event is being held by the Ho Chi Minh City Informatics Association and Intel Vietnam with sponsorship from electronics giants such as LG, Samsung, Canon, Gygabyte, and Microstar.

Trade fair opens in HCM City

More than 250 companies from Viet Nam, Algeria, mainland China, Hong Kong, India, South Korea, Nigeria, the US among others will display their products and services at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre. Exhibits include industrial machinery and equipment, printing technology, building materials, electrical, electronic, IT and telecommunication products, farm produce, processed food, garments, handicrafts and cosmetics.

Vietnam attends charitable fair in India

The fair also attracted the participation of more than 40 foreign embassies, including those of Spain  Russia, China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Egypt and Thailand. The Vietnamese Embassy’s pavilion showcased the country’s traditional products such as lacquer paintings, palm-leaf hats, Central Highlands coffee and Pho (noodle soup).

Interior decoration fair opens in HCM City

The five-day fair is expected to link wooden furniture producers and distributors as well as boost local markets. It will also showcase the advantages of Vietnam’s wooden products to domestic and foreign customers.
