Strategies to be developed in 2011

The Government has just assigned ministries to develop or finalize a number of strategies in 2011 as it is the first year of implementing the Socio-economic development plan for 2011-2015 period and the Strategy for socio-economic development in 2011-2020.

The information is included in the Government’s recent resolution on key solutions for the implementation of socio-economic development plan and State budget estimate in 2011.

Specifically, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will be responsible for developing the Strategy on negotiating free trade agreements (FTAs).

The Ministry of Finance will be responsible for completing and submitting the Strategy on national debt until 2020 with vision to 2030 to the Government for approval in Q1.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment will be responsible for developing the Strategy on investment promotion that is capable of comprehensively regulating the national investment promotion activities.

The Ministry of Education and Training will take prime responsibility to perfect and submit the Strategy on education and training development for 2011-2020 to the PM for approval in Q2.

The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs will finalize and submit the Strategy on vocational training development for 2011-2020 period to the PM for approval in Q2.

The Ministry of Science and Technology will be responsible for completing the Strategy on scientific and technological development and application for 2011-2020 period, then submit it to the PM for or approval in Q2.
