The 8th summit, themed “Television and Broadcasting in digital era”, is expected to attract around 500 international and domestic delegates, including general and executive directors, managers, policy makers, experts and scholars working in the field of broadcasting, from the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, Africa, North America and the United Arab Emirates.

During the four-day event, 15 major sessions and five meetings of the relating committees will be organized.

The AMS was established by the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) in 2004. Its annual summit has created platforms for broadcasting and television agencies in the region to share experience and ideas.

AMS was held five times in Malaysia and twice in China.
