The message was jointly delivered by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and his Laos counterpart Thoongsing Thammavong, Laos President and People’s Revolutionary Party General Secretary Choummaly Sayasone and National Assembly Chairman Pany Yathotu during Dung’s two-day official friendship visit last week.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved the expansion plan expected to be complete by 2025. According to a statement issued on January 20, the zone will be expanded another 24,280 hectares on land and 10,752 hectares towards the sea.

The bank said the gold market has also gradually stabilized, with the difference between domestic and international prices also narrowing.

PM Julia Gillard of Australia, who is in Vietnam to attend the East Asia Summit and related summits, was received by Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh and State President Nguyen Minh Triet and held talks with Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.
